Town & Country Engineering staff joined the City of Tomah and Monroe County on Friday at the Monroe County Highway offices to celebrate the announcement of an $8.4 million grant supporting the reconstruction of East Veterans Street / County Highway ET.
The street corridor runs across the frontage of the heavily used veterans administration hospital and campus in Tomah, and is also a key arterial street in the roadway network of region.
The City and County collaborated to secure this Congressional-directed funding with support from Representative Van Orden. U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy and U.S. Representative Nancy VanderMeer were also in attendance to mark the occasion.
