The Village of Tennyson in Grant County is preparing to place its new 150,000 gallon water tower into service, with planning, design, and construction administration provided by Town & Country Engineering and painting/tower construction observation by Dixon Engineering. Our engineers participated in the final tower inspection and enjoyed the amazing views of southwest Wisconsin and northeast Iowa from the top of the tower. The new tower will alleviate problems with inadequate pressure and fire flow for the Village and the local school district. The project also included wellhouse and lift station improvements, SCADA system improvements, extensive water and sewer main replacement, and associated street reconstruction. The project was funded by a $2.9M grant and $1.8M low-interest, 40-year loan from USDA Rural Development.
